The bearing is in two separate parts.

Each reference therefore designates the complete bearing containing the two rings.

The inner ring contains the rollers and the cage.

While the outer ring is in one piece.

Products in metric dimensions of the 30000 series are designated by a single reference such as for example 30205 32004X.

Products called "inch size" are designated by a reference of the inner ring, called cone, AND by a reference of the outer ring, called cup.

For example: LM11749/LM11710, LM11749 is inner ring, LM11710 is outer ring.

When replacing a tapered bearing, it is strongly advised to replace both rings.
